Luxury is not just a product — it is an experience. And I build that experience.
Who is Ekrem Sağel?
With nearly 40 years of professional experience, I have taken an active role across various regions in luxury sales, brand management, and customer experience. From the fundamental principles of selling to the strategic structure of branding, from building emotional connections with customers to achieving sustainable success — I’ve been on a broad and transformative journey.
I began my career in sales in 1986. In Mexico’s top tourist regions and Russia’s major commercial cities, I served as an executive for international brands and provided sales consultancy to numerous companies. My experience with global names such as Gilan, Bulgari, Jaeger Le Coultre, Zen Diamond, Levi’s, Benetton, and Tourbillon Boutique taught me that luxury is not only about the product — it’s about the right story, the right experience, and the right communication.
I launched the first training programs in luxury sales and jewelry retailing in Turkey. In these industry-leading programs, I bring together real-world field experience, customer behavior insights, and the psychological dimensions of branding. My trainings provide not just theoretical knowledge, but also practical solutions and sales-boosting techniques.
To date, I’ve offered services in luxury sales, brand consultancy, executive coaching, and investment advisory to numerous brands both in Turkey and abroad. I am a columnist for Marketing Turkey, and I manage TIMES DELUXE, Turkey’s first luxury news platform, along with Republic of Luxury, the country’s first luxury community. I also produce industry-focused content on my YouTube channel.
I have published four books. With “Jewelry and Diamond Sales Techniques”, I introduced a first-of-its-kind manual in Turkey. In “Sales in the Future”, I explore AI-powered selling. My book “Promises Made, Promises Kept?” addresses gaps in the diamond industry and offers actionable solutions. I also contributed as a co-author to the internationally published “Secrets of Working Across Five Continents.”
